Altar Society
The primary objective of the Altar Society is to promote true Christian love of God and neighbor, and Christian family life.  In doing so, our purpose is to:
  - Foster love of the Temple of God and His altar and to labor for its proper adornment and cleanliness
  - To take care of the immediate needs of the altar (weekly cleaning)
  - To supply the needs of the sacristy and render assistance to the Church when necessary
  - Under the direction of our Priest, purchase vestments, altar linens and other furnishing as pertinent to the altar and sanctuary
  - Purchase things pertaining to the church sanctuary and our liturgy including host, wine, candles, candle oil and floral arrangements for special feast days
  - To assist at Mercy meals for the deceased members of the parish as needed
The Altar Society board of officers includes our Priest and four officers elected by the Altar Society membership - a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.
The Ladies Altar Society now has 43 members who meet monthly (except for the months of January, July and August).  Parish activities sponsored by the Altar Society include the Lenten Bake Sale, Fall Harvest Brunch, and Newborn Clothing for Hurley Medical Center's Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit, Feast of the Epiphany Breakfast, Salad Supper Bingo and other fundraising and spiritual activities as defined by our Priest and society membership.
